By creating characters that carry my fears, thoughts, emotions, and memories, I document reality as it is - hidden behind a funny image.
In late 2023, I began painting with oil on canvas. I wanted to bring Minicitizens into the physical world, so that I - and others - would never be alone in a room again (it really works).
Minicitizens are simple and sincere. No masks. No secrets. Just quiet lives on the wall, repeating the same daily routines - the routines you need when times are hard.
As of 2026, while the war continues, Minicitizens are being born in both digital and physical forms on a daily basis.
I am currently raising funds to show them in an offline gallery in Romania.
